Hello, and welcome to our Cornerstone website!. My name is Rob Conner and I am the relatively new pastor. Our family consists of my wife, Pam, and seven children; five boys and two girls.

In these days of uncertainty we all need the proverbial “anchor in the storm”. If we are looking toward our government, the media or some other source but God for our strength, we are setting ourselves and our families up for failure. We encourage you to find your stability in the truths found in God’s word. We can look at trusting in God as a four-legged stool. The first leg is trusting in God’s love. It is God’s love that caused Him to send Christ as our Savior. It is His love that caused Him to deliver Israel, and send the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. Endless are the references that could be used to reaffirm God’s boundless love for His children. The second leg is trusting in God’s grace. Scripture teaches that it is not our works that bring God’s care and acceptance, but it is the gift of grace. The third leg is trusting in God’s principles. The principles that God sets forth in Scripture are truths that will never forsake us. These are truths that govern how we respond to Him, how we interact with other people and how we can take responsibility of our own lives and actions. Finally, the fourth leg of our stability comes from trusting in God’s providence. God has a plan for each of us. As we seek His face, His will and His strength we can truly believe that He will carry out His plan in our lives.

So, as it says in Luke 21:24; …”look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Keep looking to God, accept His gift of Jesus and trust in the leading of His Holy Spirit as you face the uncertain days ahead.
